Not all of them. For example if you open a conversation in messages it slides left, and you have to wait before you can scroll. When you cancel a route in Maps it zooms back on your position and you have to wait before you can move the map again (and it’s really slow).

Another example (mentioned by another commenter) is the Magsafe animation.

Siri can be in the middle of responding to a request from my phone when I dock it to my Magsafe charger on my desk, and it obliterates the request like it never happened. Also, cannot use the phone for about 3 seconds after docking it. The green "your phone is charging!" animation takes precedence over all.
