I wonder how much of deals like this that don't make sense on its surface is based on behind the scene agreements.

"If you invest 100 million in this company we backed two years ago, we'll give you a good deal on this other thing we know you're interested"

"If you back our cloud computing company, we'll get our other unicorns to use your CRM technologies"
